6th album released in 1980. It has an impression of rock, and the solid sound by renowned overseas musicians is a highlight.

◾️ Before the Generation of Love I WAS BORN IN 1952
7th album released in 1981. It was made in a hurry for the 1982 Nippon Budokan concert, and although it has a straightforward style, universal melodies shine throughout.

◾️ DOWN BY THE MAINSTREET
9th album released in 1984. It reached number 2 on the Oricon chart. Like the jacket illustration, the content is reminiscent of an American youth movie.

◾️ J.BOY
The 10th album released in 1986 is a double album. It was his first album to reach number 1 on the Oricon chart. It was selected for the Excellent Album Award at the 28th Japan Record Awards.
The title J.BOY is a coined word meaning Japanese Boy, and later influenced various fields such as the J League.
