Vintage Southern MFG Co football jersey. The southern MFG co was making sports apparel from the 1930s to 1962 when they changed the name to Russell Mills so this is a Pre- Russell garment that was made sometime between the 1930s and 1962.The jersey is a thick heavy knit fabric.It is purple and has the numbers 67 in yellow on the front and back.There are some holes in the fabric and on one side the side seam is split a bit higher up from the hem. The sleeves have been cut off leaving a raw edge. Some of the stitching adhering the numbers to the jersey is missing and unraveling. There is a stain on one of the numbers.Please see all of the photos for condition.
