1930's Japan Tour Babe Ruth on boat Photo (Beckett) authentic
What makes this special is it was taken on the boat in which Ruth took to Japan. As you can see he's standing wearing a flower knecklace that they made for him. Ruth and other star players of them days traveled to Japan to support the country and bring attention to baseball nationwide. Ruth was the center of the stage during them days..and hit homeruns in the Japenese exhibition that he amazed Japan so much that they put up a life size statue in honor of his great baseball skills. This photograph is historical and one of one.. no others exist of it. Which makes this a awesome convo piece for a collector. The price is fare and firm do to the importance of this photograph. It's in rough shape but it's a very old and scarce collectable. What makes it also desirable is that it's a small photograph the size of a baseball card so it's a great piece to display on a shelf.
