Gorgeous egg shaped paperweight etched Verre de Mer 2007. after some research, I found an extremely similar weight on Worthpoint.com with the same signature. This is what the description said:
This weight is scratch-signed Verre de Mer. This style of paperweight was made at Verre de Mer by glass artist Patrick Kolten in the early 2000s. The measurements of this wonderful Verre de Mer glass paperweight are approximately 1 and 7/8 across and 3 a nd 1 /4 high. Because Verre de Mer is no longer making this paperweight design, this piece is OOP (out-of-production).
Worthpoint also states that this is one of Washington states art glass workshops. I did buy this from a friend who lives in Washington state.
