This open-collar short-sleeve shirt is made from a cotton-linen poplin fabric woven with Suvin cotton for the warp and linen harvested in northern Normandy, France, for the weft. To bring out the rich fullness and softness of Suvin cotton, ring spinning is used. Although production efficiency is low, the resulting yarn is characterized by its evenness and high strength. The fabric is a blend of the smoothness and elegant luster of Suvin cotton and the crispness and coolness of French linen.
