This Otomi story tapestry is an amazing example of hand embroidery.
It has 20 individual and unique panels of hand made embroidery sewn together with a traditional patterned fabric to create a one of a kind piece of Mexican folk art.
It has loops for hanging—although it would make a gorgeous quilt top or bedspread. It is pictured on a standard queen bed.
There are a few small stains-perhaps coffee-I did not attempt to clean them. There are a few loose stings as well.
This is a really striking and one of a kind masterpiece.
