These are wide straight-leg jeans with a buckle-back design from the 1930s, also known as waist overalls.
The pocket openings are reinforced with a facing that mirrors the stitching design on the front, a sophisticated detail that combines reinforcement and design. The floral stitching on the pocket openings adds to this. There's a uniquely shaped coin pocket inserted into the waistband.
The back pockets are reinforced with a bar tack and a double-stitched V-shaped original design, and the buckle-back is sewn into the waistband with an original design.
The front fly is a continuous fly, and the inside of the waistband uses a separate fabric, a SOC original specification.
The pocket lining also uses a different fabric, paying homage to details from World War II, and the beautiful two-needle stitching is done with a narrow-width sewing machine.
