Rare, this antique folding wooden cigarette box showcases intricate carvings. The top features two dragons eating small animals. The side panels are adorned with densely carved leaves and animals. The box interior reveals three separate hinged compartments designed to hold a total of 48 cigarettes.There are no markings on the box, which is solid, sturdy and heavy. It has no damage. This box was on display at The Dragon Dreams Museum in Chattanooga, TN, which closed permanently in 2016. I have just recently purchased the contents of the museum.
