She finds working with found printed tin a perfect outlet for her creativity and a whole lot of fun! She uses it to make tin bird and fish assemblages, collages, mobiles, jewelry, etc. Her work has been exhibited throughout New England in public buildings, schools, private collections and galleries and can be seen at Local Colors Artists’ Cooperative, Gloucester, MA.She and her studio are known as TIN CAN SALLY – not many know her real name. There are not many sculptors / jewelers who work in tin. and she loves working in metal – and especially COLORFUL metal..One of her great accomplishments was a yearlong installation at the Peabody Essex Museum in Salem, MA. It was titled FLOCK and included 386 stunning birds of recycled tin. Her work is collected by museum and private individuals.She has mostly retired from making her creations so these pieces are highly sought after and collectible.
