This is a set of three Antique Victorian-era Limoges Flambeau game plates. Each plate measures 9.5” and showcases a beautifully hand-painted multi-color game bird pattern and gold ruffled/scalloped edges. Crafted from fine bone china, these plates were manufactured in France, by the LDBC Flambeau China factory in Limoges, France circa 1890-1900. The plates are factory hand painted and signed on the front by the Limoges artist “BAY.” All but one of the plates bear marks of “LBDC Flambeau Limoges France Hand Painted.” All of the plates are marked “Limoges France.” All marks are in green paint. Two of the plates are of the same yellow and brown bird and one is a beautiful turquoise/blue/green bird.Condition: in very good condition with no cracks, blemishes to the paint or repairs. One of the plates has a chip on the rim (see photos). There is some wear to the gold on the edges of all three plates. They are marked as shown.
