Charleston Mine Gold Silver Ore Rock Mineral Specimen from the Southwest Flank of Mount Skukum Volcanic Complex located in the Wheaton / Watson River Valley area of the Southern Yukon Territory in Canada. I personally found this 7.25" x 4.25" x 7" weighing 5266 grams specimen while prospecting the Woof Claims so called by previous AGIP geologists whom opined that the claims held only dog rock. I sent some samples in for assay which returned about 0.2 ounces per ton gold and 185 ounces per tone silver in polymetallic sulfide veins with pyrite, arsenopyrite, stibnite, sphalerite, galena and rare electrum in cockscomb quartz – looks very much like Omni Mine ore at Skukum Creek on Mt Reed. It has natural surfaces save for the main face that I cut with a diamond blade rock saw. Very rare ore from a mine partially developed by a Klondike Gold Rush prospector during the late 1890s through early 1900s. I uploaded 2 photos of the Charleston with cabin and rock glacier as reference.
