This is a masterpiece, the Westlight, from the American hatter Knox, a select vintage item.
The dress western style was one of the mainstays in the golden age of hats in the 40s and 50s.
Stetson had the Open Road, Dobbs had the Westward, and Knox released this Westlight, competing with each other.
This is a vintage Knox, a top-tier hat brand that is well-known and has established a firm position in Japan, so the craftsmanship is undeniable.
It features a simple and beautiful silhouette with a semi-wide brim and a straight ribbon tie.
The light brown color is also excellent and easy to coordinate.
There is some wear and tear, but no noticeable stains or damage.
The lining is missing, and the sweatband has age-related damage, but it is still flexible, so you can wear it as is.
You may want to consider replacing it in the future.
