This is a 1996 Rare One Pound Coin Celtic Cross Mint Error in great condition. The error is in the photos you will see the Edge inscription “ Decus et Tutamen” has been printed up side down so it is readable when you hold the coin from the cross side. ( Should be readable from the head side ) this coin is made of Nickel Brass ( 70% copper and 5.5% nickel and 24.5% Zinc) The weight is 9.5 grams, the diameter is 22.5 mm, the thickness is 13.15 mm. The coin reads Elizabeth ll D G Reg.F.D 1996. This coin is very hard to find and very collectible.
