Maui is a legendary Hawaiian trickster demigod, a main character voiced by The Rock in Disney's 2016 animated film Moana, and also the centerpiece of Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. A statue of Maui greets you when you enter the resort. Maui has been greeting guests since 1971.
This Maui mug is based off this welcoming statue. Maui stands on a base, posed with his hands up. The mug was made to look like weathered wood and is marked Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort on the back of his head.
