Vintage Congress Pinochle Playing Cards – Sealed w/ Tax Stamp, Mid-Century

Vintage Congress brand Pinochle playing cards in original box with tax stamp seal intact. Manufactured by the U.S. Playing Card Co. This deck has never been opened and retains its original factory wrap and tax stamp (on the 9 of spades card, as was standard).
Congress decks are well known for their high-quality card stock and decorative artwork, and sealed vintage decks are highly collectible among playing card enthusiasts. Box shows light shelf wear from age, but cards are pristine and untouched.

Dating: Pre-1965 (based on tax stamp).
