From Mattel, this is Barbie's friend Midge made in 1964. Midge has red hair, blue eyes and a sprinkle of freckles on her cheeks. Body parts are intact (no broken fingers) except for two small marks on the right cheek of the doll's face and a small rough spot on the upper left arm. Eyes are painted on and do not open/close.
Doll measures 11 and weighs 3.9 ounces without clothing. The upper inner left thigh is marked with 225 50 and the left buttock is marked with 6 4 . The inside of the upper left arm is marked with N N z 6 ; the inside of the right upper arm is marked with 777 SN . The underside of the right foot is marked Japan .
The doll is clothed in an ankle-length, multicolor dress trimmed in lace; this dress was made by the original owner's grandmother. No other items of clothing or shoes are included.
