Aquascutum 60's Short Coat Vintage Rare Model

This is a vintage Aquascutum short coat from the 1960s. It's a rare short coat style.

I purchased it from a vintage shop a few years ago, and for reference, it cost around 100,000 yen.

The fabric is Aqua5, a staple of Aquascutum in those days. It's 100% cotton but boasts excellent waterproof and water-repellent properties, making it highly popular.
Of course, it's made in England.

While most vintage Aquascutum pieces are eitherステンカラーコート (single-breasted coats) or trench coats, this one is a double-breasted short coat, almost like a peacoat. I've visited numerous vintage shops, but I've never seen this model anywhere else.

The color is a beige that leans slightly towards off-white (ivory). The color, combined with the style, gives it a very clean look. It's not only rare but also incredibly versatile, making it suitable for both casual and formal occasions.

It would look incredibly stylish worn casually over a knit.

Another notable feature is its size. While most pieces available on the market are oversized, this one, although the size tag is faded and unreadable, is a golden size that would fit even slim individuals.

I measured it myself, and the dimensions are as follows:

Shoulder width: Approx. 42 cm
Bust: Approx. 52 cm
Sleeve length: Approx. 63 cm
Length: Approx. 78 cm (from the collar)

Despite being a vintage piece from the 1960s, the fabric still has a good amount of stiffness, and there are no noticeable stains or damage. The condition is excellent, especially considering its age.

However, as it's a piece from almost 60 years ago, there might be some oversights. Please purchase only if you understand vintage items.
