Previously, transistors had only been used in military or industrial applications, and the TR-1 demonstrated their utility for consumer electronics. The Regency TR-1 kicked-off a worldwide demand for small and portable electronic products that bred the DNA for all Personal Electronic Devices and smartphones we now use on a daily basis.
This unit is in the original Mandarian Red color and is in excellent condition
