1930s–40s Gund Ride Em Cowboy Teddy Bear 12” – Glass Eyes, Metal Guns – Rare

This is an original 1930s–1940s Gund “Ride ’Em Cowboy” teddy bear — a rare vintage plush toy with Western-themed clothing and distinctive character.

Features:
• Approx. 12” tall
• Green cloth body with stitched nose and mouth
• Glass eyes
• Poseable wire arms
• Original cowboy outfit: vest, chaps, and scarf
• Original metal pistols (one in holster & one used to be sewn on one of his hands)
• Missing cowboy hat
• Missing right sleeve cuff (left cuff intact, but stapled)
• No tags (typical for Montgomery Ward Gund bears of this era)

This bear has been well preserved for its age and still displays wonderfully. The fabric and clothing show minor wear consistent with age. The missing accessories are noted and reflected in the price. An excellent piece for collectors of early Gund, Western-themed toys, or Americana.
