Mohawk Tribe Beaded Cloth Hanging Canoe Basket with American Flag 1900s
This very unique and engaging mohawk beaded decorated heavy cloth Canoe, decorated with American flags, was created to celebrate the victory and coming a piece for the allies of World War 1. The edges of the Canoe are also decorated with blue beads. And it has a hanging cord. The bottom of the Canoe is decorated with hanging loops of beads. The piece is an excellent condition. Altogether a great piece of folk Americana.
