Thousand Flowers Millefleur Japanese Satsuma Hand Painted Gold Gilded Kutani JarThis is stunning vintage Thousand Flowers Millefleur Japanese Satsuma Hand Painted Gold Gilded Kutani Jar.The jar is hand painted in the traditional Japanese Sutsuma Hand Painted enameled art with a multitude of flowers including chrysanthemums and peonies covering the entire surface.The flowers are intricately accented with meticulously applied gold gilding and there is a raised relief over the entire surface as well. The matching lid has this same application with a gold gilded top finial.The jar measures approximately 8" tall by 4" wide and is in excellent vintage condition with no visible anomalies. The maker's mark is on the underside of the jar.This is an incredibly beautiful piece that would add a splash of color to any environment.
