This is a wonderful piece of Chinese cork art, by San You. A wonderful diorama of a pagoda, with trees and cranes or herons - this vintage piece is encased by a glass and wood case, which sits perfectly on a stand. The stand measures 23cm wide and is 6cm deep. This form of art is known as The Three Treasures of Fuzhou - it was in the town of Fuzhou that artists learned how to carve and engrave cork.
