Kates Canada Wool Felt Upturned Kettle Brim Rasberry Pink Hat Royal Ascot Queen's Style Size 7
What a lovely find! This is a new old stock with original price tag attached upturned kettle brim wool hat, made in the style most frequently worn by Queen Elizabeth II by Boutique Kates Canada in the 1980's. The hat is a dusky rasberry pink (the tag says hot pink) and has a beautiful floral accent on the right side as shown in the photos. Inside the crown, the hat is marked Finest Imported FurFelt and the brim edge is trimmed with grosgrain ribbon. The hat is a wool fur felt and the crown measures 3-1/2 inches tall, with a 13 inch diameter brim. The interior diameter of the hat measures 56 cm or 22 inches which translates to a ladies size 7 hat. The orignal price tag is 99 which would be up to 250 in today's dollars adjusted for inflation!
