This listing is for a beautiful set of 4 plates hand crafted, hand painted, and signed by Tyrus Wong (1910 – 2016), one of the most influential Chinese-American artists of the 20th century who helped develop the style of Chinese Modern home decor. He was the artist that created the art style of Bambi for Disney. Decor: MCM 1940's Chinese Modern.
The plates are light green (checkered like) background featuring a yellow flower, and is signed on the front with Wong's Chinese signature and chop mark.
The back is hand inscribed with the mark *Gabriel Pasadena 225.
