Carved out of verdite, also known as African Jade, this incredibly detailed African male bust is a one of a kind work of art, made it is a single chunk of rare multicolored verdite. Blended with swirls of varying greens and brown, this unique stone also has veins of purple that add a richness and quality to this piece which you will not find in other sculptures. The artist captured the pickering of the lips and the creases in the cheeks. No detail was left out in this young man's features. Too beautiful to capture with a simple camera.
