Vintage hand carved statue/bust of a man of African descent.
There is no signature anywhere on the piece. It is solid wood, not sure what variety.
There are some condition issues from drying of the wood. Please look closely at the pictures for details.
Issues include; cracks, and some raised areas. There are also what look to be some paint marks on his shoulder, his ear and the front his chest near the necklace cord.

17.5 inches, tall
11.5 inches wide
5.5 inches front to back.
This is a very heavy statue for its size . Shipping is higher due to this weight.
Provenance of this item:
Received from a client on consignment and liquidating her assets. She received this from her grandfathers estate in 1960. He had been collecting statues/busts for years prior to that date. She does not know what the date of acquisition was for this particular piece.
