100% Original barn find!! Since 1997 this bike sat in the loft of a friend's grandparents barn untouched until I pulled it down a few weeks ago. The original paint is pretty bad but there's no dents or repairs and it still has the original decals. 1988 was the first year of the Vertigo and unlike the 1988 Performer the 1988 Vertigo frame & forks are 100% 4130 Chromoly. Fully restored these are selling for 3500. So considering that this is an unrestored survivor that was untouched for 27years I feel that my price is more than reasonable and leaves plenty of room for a buyer to make 1000 or more after restoration.
