2004 Fleer/Skybox Showcasing Talent , the legacy collection. Commemorates his Biketnikoff award season. This is an absolutely beautiful card. A very rare rookie of Fitzgerald. In my opinion, only Randy Moss had more of an instant impact in his rookie year. Fitzgerald was a PROTOTYPE receiver. The height, speed, hands, jumping, route running, and durability. Fitzgerald turned down several offers from other teams during his career, but remained loyal to the Cardinals. And during his years, he caught passes from multiple quarterbacks. Carson Palmer and Kurt Warner had considerable success in Arizona. The Cards had an up and down stretch during his time there. And although the coaching staff, roster, and offensive schemes changed consistently. The one thing that remained dependable was Fitzgerald's greatness. He and Boldin had a 4 year stretch wherein they were hands down the best tandem in football.
