This is a MITTAN alpaca wool cape purchased this season.
It's a dark navy color, a special order from the Hobonichi Store.
I fell in love with the wonderful material and design and bought it, but I haven't had many opportunities to wear it, so I'm putting it up for sale.

Description from the Hobonichi Store:
Although it's called a cape, it's a knit that can be worn in various ways. It's a large rectangle with a hole in the center with a slightly raised collar, and you put it on by putting your head through the hole. It can be worn like a long, ample vest or a poncho, and you can tie the edges of the fabric together to create a pullover style. Alternatively, you can wrap it like a stole or use it as a shoulder wrap.
It's knitted using a hole garment technique with a blend of delicate, smooth baby alpaca and soft wool yarn. The use of melange yarn, which is made by twisting two different colored yarns together, expresses depth of color. Both baby alpaca and wool have excellent heat retention properties, while being relatively lightweight.
