Set of 5 Woodrow & Lothrop Framed Madonna Art Pictures with oval wood frames. They may have been either purchased at the Woodrow & Lothrop Department store already made or they were hand made and taken to be framed at the store. Either way, they appear to be hand painted and hand made Madonna pictures. They appear to be hand painted & decorated with fabric and ribbon around the edge of the picture. They are intricately done and are different representations of either the Madonna alone or Madonna with Child. They are done in beautiful soft pastel colors. They do have the Woodrow and Lothrop label on the back. The paper backing is torn in various different places on the back in all of the pictures. The actual frames and images are in great condition. They measure approximately 10.5 x 8.5 inches. We estimate the time frame of when that they may have been made to be 1950's-1960's? All of the pictures appear to have the initial EC or EG?
