Superb and especially rare piece up for grabs here! A small hand-carved pocket knife in the shape of a hand extended out into a fist holding something in it. This is most certainly a piece that took one soldier a good amount of time to finish, but there absolutely was a lot of down time. Most soldiers carved pieces out of wood or lead and a lot whittled knifes as every soldier carried one. There was tons of time to kill during the winter it was a brutal and boring life.
