This is in excellent condition, but it needs service. If you keep it moving, it works fine but, if it sits, it stops. Research says it's gold-filled. The chain isn't marked, it's Victorian, but I have no idea what it's constructed of.

This was found in an attic and hasn't been out of the storage box since the 1970s.
