Vintage, deep chocolate brown, woman’s Banana Republic 100% leather jacket (circa 1999) in excellent condition. Features:-It has a full, completely intact liner free of defects and tears.-All zippers and buttons work smoothly and pockets are free from tears. -The jacket is very solid with good heft and can be worn comfortably into late fall and early winters. -May have been treated at the factory as it has waterproof properties (ie repels water). Sizing:-Small. -Falls slightly below the waistline, covering 1/3 of my buttocks (I’m 5’4), which is better than other jackets which all fall right at the waist and I hate bending over or sitting in them, as they expose my lower back. This jacket does NOT do that - has good coverage…Other pertinent notes:-I only wore it only a couple of times because I became vegan after purchasing it but never had an outlet to sell it. -It’s been in an overly clean, smoke/pest/pet free home since, and really should be rocked by someone hot:)-As jacket is genuine leather it may sport some signs of natural wear; these can be seen in the pics. I have not oiled the jacket as I prefer the beautiful patina of naturally worn leather. -One of the few times I wore this jacket (decades ago now) I was taking a walk early Sunday morning on a quiet Madison Ave in NY and was hardcore (head-turned) ogled by Hugh Grant. Only he and I were on the street at the time… I can humbly say it must have been the jacket because I’m not that pretty!!
