“Love with the Proper Stranger” is a 1963 Paramount Pictures romantic drama starring screen legends Steve McQueen & Natalie Wood directed by Robert Mulligan & produced by Alan Pakula. It also starred Edie Adams, Herschel Bernardi, Tom Bosley (in his screen debut) & an uncredited Richard Mulligan (younger brother of director). The film received five Oscar nominations, including Natalie Wood for Best Actress. The “controversial for its time” film addresses themes of abortion, norms of conventional marriage and adulthood. Other Oscar nominations were for best costume design by the incomparable Edith Head, best screenplay, and best art direction.
These five vintage film lobby cards (11”x14”) from 1963 are in very fine condition with no tape marks or restoration. They display images of the two famous stars very well & are in great condition even though they are over 60 years old!
