The history of Koch & Bergfeld dates to 1829 when Gottfried Koch opened his workshop in Bremen Germany.
In 1865 Gottfried Koch and Ludwig Bergfeld retired, leaving the business to their four sons.
The marks used on this coffee pot indicate that it was made between 1870 and 1883
