Sepia toned image of an Angel warming his hands on an open fire. Mounted on a 5” x 4” piece of glass 2/14” thick. Purchased in an antique store 45 years ago in Melrose, MA. I still don’t know the artist but it has always evoked John Singer Sargent’s Middle East images ( such as Fumee d’Amber Gris). Front & sides are in good shape, black backing on back is partially off.
