This is a French art glass scent perfume bottle, or cologne. The maker is Maurius Sabino. The date is circa 1925 – 1930.The glass is opalescent opaline, a type of glass that Sabino made. In order to photograph this type of glass effectively, the background needs to be black, and that gives the glass a black tinge. No, the glass does not have any black in it.The perfume is 5 3/8” high and 2” wide at the bottom. The bottle shows nude women in relief, circling the body of the bottle, with a toe or foot dipped into a pool of water. The stopper is original to the bottle and it is faceted.The bottom of the bottle has the etched mark or signature of “Sabino Paris.” I provide a copy of the text that identifies this mark as to date and maker.There are no chips, nicks or cracks.You can read more about Sabino in the book “Le Verre en France” by Janine Bloch-Dermant, on pages 238 – 240
