Measures 9 T-4.5 W. Probably French in origin. Solid brass candlesticks. Cherubs intertwined in a naturalistic setting. A stem wrapping around their bodies holds up the candle holders which are in the form of flowers. The cherubs are stood on free-form bases with naturalistic swirls in a rococo manner.
They are in good vintage condition, there is no real damage to speak of. They are patinated over time naturally from use which adds to their charm. They have been used and can be cleaned, but I have left them as-is as a reminder of their age and history. One of the top/inner portion of the candlesticks comes out, but it fits back in easily and can be glued in if wished. Again, I left it as-is because I don't want to fix history.
Each one measures 22cm high x 11cm wide x 11cm deep. The opening for the candle at the top has a diameter of around 2cm.
