This could be considered an antique because I would say it's about 100 years old . Very cool biscuit barrel by Daniel & Arter. Marked D&A EPNS with a serial number 847 5 1/2 is best I can see. Beautiful antique oak and silverplated biscuit barrel, Birmingham, England. Lined in porcelain. Silver plate or Gold or Both because it may be tarnished but I don't wanna touch that it was my great uncles. Measures approx 6.75 h and 5.75 dia. This is such a cool piece- It could be on display perfect for a collector I believe it's the early 1900s in the 20s. or it can be used as a cool little ice bucket, but it is very fun. The shield at the front could easily be monogrammed with a family crest or initials.
