Growing up in the Transylvania region of Romania, Ion Tamaian became fascinated by a nearby glassblowing shop. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Cluj-Napoca, Romania and opened his own glass shop. Ion’s unusual and imaginative glass creations have been collected worldwide since the early 1990’s. This vintage Confetti Handkerchief Vase is one-of-a-kind and quite an eye catcher. It measures 10.5 inches long, 6.5 inches wide and 5.5 inches tall. The vase is signed on the bottom and is in excellent vintage condition with no chips or cracks.
