Rare find! One of a kind Domed bridle rosette with stylized image of Native American Chief in head dress
bezel set in brass & brass backing
Converted by owner into a ring
Size 8 1/2 (see ring on mandrel)
Owner was female but also suitable for men
Domed ring is 1 3/4” diameter round & approximately 3/4” high
Weighs 2 ounces
Ring band is 5/16” (7.95 mm) wide
Bezel setting on rosette appears to be brass
Dome looks like glass but could be acrylic
Added band on ring is unmarked but may be gold alloy
Incised on back in all caps are the words GITTY YUP
—an odd spelling of both words for sure, but certainly something that could have been stamped on original bridle rosette
Although made into a ring, this unique piece could also be worn as a pendant with chain or leather or string of your choice
Very good preowned condition—scratches in metal consistent with age & wear
