It's an older piece, the necklace (original to pendant) has the same amount of patina as the brooch/pendant is a hook clasp. I did have to clean the silver on the back to see the mark. This piece is marked Silver, 925, and Taxco. This is pre-eagle, and the scene is a man sitting next to what looks like some type of cactus with a bag. It really is a beautiful piece; There is some wear on the abalone (cracks) but considering the age, it just add's to the piece. Maker's initials are IMP .
