Tanuki EHT 'Earth' Selvedge Denim. Size 32, high rise tapered fit. Made in Japan. Price is firm.
The 'Earth' denim is 18oz 100% cotton, slubby and full of texture. Made with a combination of 4 different indigo and 4 different cotton. With the beige weft, the denim has a green hue to it. This denim is deadstock because the loom was damaged during the natural disaster happened to Okayama few years ago. This is worn for a few months so there's some sign of wear especially around the crotch. Two minor issues: 1) Some light blue paint splashed on the left leg close to inseam (see last pic). 2) I accidentally left a receipt in the right rear pocket when washed it, so there's some paper residual in the pocket, but not visible outside.
