The Mayfield was part of the elite Sheridan Collection. At the time, this line was the most expensive of American-made bags. Each bag was handmade (not handcrafted) using imported Italian leather that was treated to be scratch, water and stain resistant.
Overall, I'd say this bag is in good condition with mainly some stretching on the slip pockets and flap--issues from poor storage, maybe . The interior lining is clean, although minor wear (pilling) on the lining.
