Stunning Art Deco vase from Val St. Lambert, Belgium - Bolero design by Charles Graffart, first produced in the late 1940s. The vase is made of double glazing – crystal clear glass with an emerald green overlay. Green is a rich color that looks almost black at the bottom of the piece. The bottom of the vase is signed and dates from the 1950s or 1960s. It's in good overall condition, but has a notch at one point on the rim, a smaller notch and some fleabites at an adjacent point (see photo). The damage is only apparent on closer inspection, so this piece still shows up well, but it's reflected in the price.
