Vintage from the 1920s
Description
An original vintage advertising piece for Moxie sodas dating to the 1920's or so. This Moxie Base Ball Score card disc has a unique design - one side features the Drink Moxie slogan, while the opposite side has a blank card for scoring a baseball game. This piece was also intended for use as a coaster while enjoying a Moxie beverage.
The disc is made of a medium weight card-stock and measures 3 in diameter. It is still in excellent condition for its age, showing minimal wear (see pics). The baseball score side is blank and unscored with no writing.
A very scarce piece of vintage baseball memorabilia - these coasters are seldom seen, especially with a blank/unused scoring section. Many of these were likely used/decarded in their day after being scored and used as coasters
