Overview: Up for sale is an incredible vivid impressionist oil painting on stretched canvas. The painting depicts a colorful forest stream landscape. I love the impasto touches and the soft, subtle impressionist splashes of green. Painting is signed Hackett at lower right. Based on style and canvas age, I'd estimate this dates to the 1970s or 1980s. Painting is unframed.
