This original & vintage movie Lobby Card Set of 8 for the 1972 disaster film “The Poseidon Adventure” produced by Irwin Allen. It has an ensemble castincluding five Oscar winners: Gene Hackman, Shelley Winters, Jack Albertson, Ernest Borgnine & Red Buttons. The plot centers on the fictional SS Poseidon, an aging luxury liner on its final voyage from New York City to Athens, before it is scrapped. On New Year's Day, it is overturned by an tsunami. Passengers and crew are trapped inside, and a preacher attempts to lead a small group of survivors to safety thru the upside down cruise ship.
This completely unrestored film lobby card (11” x 14”) set of 8 is in very good condition. This set of lobby cards are in fantastic condition. The cards also come with the original envelope which displays the majority of the wear & tear including discolored cellophane tape, spot staining, general wear & tear on the edges, creasing & minor smudging.
