Gianni Pacinotti (aka Gipi) began illustrating stories and comics in 1992.
His graphic novel, Notes for a War Story, published by Coconino Press, won the 2005 Goscinny Prize for Best Script, and was proclaimed Best Book at Angoulême in 2006.
Gipi's Eisner Award-winning work was Gli Innocenti.
Gipi founded Santa
Maria Video, edits the Estero Notte anthology, and teaches in various fine arts academies.
Gianni has long been an avid gamer and game designer. The characters for his special guest box come straight from his card game Bruti.
