This is a GOREGOUS vintage suit skirt and blazer set from Escada by Margaretha Ley. The shell is a lovely orange 100% linen and the lining is a matching burnt orange silk. Little brass colored buttons adorn the sleeves, front, and back. Classic three button styling with three on the sleeves and one each on the decorative faux back pockets. Notched Lapels. Very slight pleated peplum at the waist for a subtle touch to give you that perfect hourglass silhouette. The skirt is a classic pencil shape with a hidden zipper and button closure, front pockets, and high waist styling. I received this suit set from my aunt who says that it once was worn by Barbara Walters! She worked for ABC for many years. I can't provide any evidence of truth but it is a fun story nonetheless. The set is in excellent vintage condition. It has been excellently preserved. Size 36 or US size 4.
